Towards the end of last year, I felt it was time for my branding and website to be raised to the next level. What I had was lovely, but it was no longer quite right for the direction my business and work has taken over the past two years.
Wherever possible, I like to hire local talent for work I need done, and help presented itself in the form of the lovely Anna Butterfield, from Help Me Net NZ. I met Anna at the Kapiti Parent Centre Beautiful You day for mums, and we got along famously from the start. During our first meeting, Anna impressed me immensely when, without even speaking to me in detail about what I wanted or needed, she presented me with the bones of a website that was exactly what I had been imagining and trying to (unsuccessfully) achieve on my own for quite sometime. Needless to say, I was excited!
For my branding, after much work, I had created a basic version of the logo I wanted to move forward with, but something wasn’t quite right. Anna put me in touch with local graphic designer and photographer Catherine Adam from Catherine Adam Photography and Design. Catherine finetuned and perfected a logo and alternate logos for me that are just beautiful, as well as designing gorgeous business cards.
As painful and cumbersome as the rebranding process can be, these two women have been a breath of fresh air to work with, and have absolutely nailed my web presence and branding – I couldn’t be happier.
Please pop on over to their pages and bookmark them for future reference – I highly recommend both for your web and design needs!
Wishing you a wonderful day!
